Cleaning Instructions:
Wash: Hand-wash in cold water. As normal detergent is alkaline, the use of regular detergent will cause the hide to deteriorate. Only use detergent approved for wool or leather.
Dry: Flat in the shade, not in sunlight or a direct heat source such as a dryer. If the leather hide of your item constricts slightly while drying, gently stretch back into shape while still damp.
Fluff: Once dry, brush with a wire or stiff hair brush to restore the texture of the sheepskin wool.
Spot Clean: Use a waterless horse shampoo to spot clean the item if needed, then brush.
